Markus Stefaner is a tax advisor and partner in the field of international tax and transfer pricing. Together with his team, he looks after clients in cross-border situations, Austrian and international structuring, M&A projects and other special tax issues. His clients value his experience in project management and the technical overview, which enables him to weigh up arguments and develop solutions that are tailored to the client. 

His regular activities also include supporting customers in tax audits and clarifying legal issues with the tax authorities. Before joining EY, he worked at the Institute for Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and did his doctorate. He is also a regular speaker there and at the Academy of Tax Consultants and Auditors. He is also the author of numerous specialist publications.
