The author is a graduate in commerce from the University of Rajasthan. He did his MA (Philosophy) from the same university. He always secured meritorious positions in the secondary and senior secondary board examinations and continued this trend in the CA and CS Examinations as well.
He secured the first rank in CA Final Examinations Nov. 2006 securing 77.63% in the aggregate. He was also the best paper award holder (94 marks) in Direct Taxes (Paper – 7) in CA Final Exams Nov. 2006. He had secured third rank in CA Inter (PE-II) May 2004 and eleventh rank in CA Foundation (PE-I) May 2003. He had secured first rank and third rank respectively in CS Inter June 2006 and CS Final Exams June 2007.
He is the Executive Editor, Service Tax Today (Fortnightly Magazine), Taxmann and author of various books for students and professionals, published by Taxmann.
He is also engaged in CA Practice and guidance of students of professional courses
