Mr. Gupta has been honoured thrice by the Chief Justice of India and the Union Law Minister for his various Law Books and Compendiums on Food Safety, Telecom, Mining, Real Estate and Special Economic Zones (SEZs). His cases have brought paradigm changes in the arena of taxation, bringing in Equalization Levy and taxing of foreign internet companies. Apart from being a columnist in several national newspapers-magazines and nartisinant in TV debates, he has many literary hooks to his name.
