He has retired as General Manager (Recovery & Law) of Oriental Bank of Commerce. He served the bank for a span of 33 years in various capacities. During his stint of 33 years with OBC, he held important assignments. He also held the post of Regional Head of various Regions including prestigious Delhi and New Delhi Regions. He has expertise in handling the impaired assets of the Banks especially under the provisions of the SARFAESI Act / DRT Act.
After retirement, he also held the assignment as Consultant to Oriental Bank of Commerce, Mumbai for a period of one year for recovery of NPAs of the erstwhile Global Trust Bank which was taken over by OBC and assisted the Bank in recovering and settling substantial amount of bad debts / NPAs.
He has also worked as an Advisor, Pegasus Assets Reconstruction Pvt. Ltd. (ARC), Mumbai for a period of three years.
He also took up assignment of training of the Senior Managerial personnel and field functionaries of various Banks / FIs on NPA Management. He has been addressing Seminars / Training Programmes for various Banks/FIs and institutions which are being attended by the Branch Incumbents, Authorised Officers, Senior Officials and Executives of the following intuitions:-
i) State Bank of India and its associate banks.
ii) Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, Haryana.
iii) Bankers Training College, Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai
iv) Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
v) National Co-operative Development Corporation, New Delhi.
