Adv. Vishal J. Dave is a practising Advocate at the Gujarat High Court and various High Courts, Tribunals and the Supreme Court. He was appointed as the Assistant Government Pleader (AGP) before the High Court of Gujarat. He has handled and appeared in various Civil, Criminal, Corporate, Cyber and Tax litigation. He has also been involved and argued many Public Interest Litigations such as Surat Airport Flight Connectivity, the legality of OBC Commission, seeking review of OBC list in Gujarat, multiplexes to permit movie goers to enter cinema halls with food and water brought with them, against levying parking fee in malls, theatres, School fee waiver due to Covid-19 pandemic, etc. He has also handled and argued complex litigation challenging constitutional validity such as the merger of Tribunals through Finance Act, 2017, National and State GST Appellate Tribunal, the constitution of Authority of Advance Ruling under GST Act, Formation of RERA Appellate Tribunal, Coram of National Company Law Tribunal etc.

He is regular faculty and speaker at ICAI, ICSI, Nationalized banks, CAG and author of various corporate and tax journals, majorly in Taxmann, Corporate Professionals Today, etc.

Mr. Dave is regularly invited for debates in electronic, print, and web media on social and economic interest topics. He has been involved in pro bono litigation for various social groups and supports social activists for noble causes.
