Ragging- Legal Aspects and Institutional Framework

Ragging, in one form or the other, has been practiced in educational institutions and institutions of higher learning since time immemorial and despite several measures undertaken, including the legal regime established, achieving a ragging-free environment is still a distant dream. A large part of it can be attributed to our reluctance to recognize ragging as a real issue. This book is thus an attempt to educate and lay bare different critical aspects of the subject including certain analytical case studies to highlight the urgent need to collectively fight against this menace. The book shall be of great utility to students in different Colleges/Institutions, their parents, the faculty members, Heads of the Institutions, lawyers, judges, et al.
